About These Terms
These terms govern your use of services provided by Cash For Cars North Shore. By requesting a quote or accepting our service, you agree to these terms.
Our Quotes
Quotes are based on the information you provide (vehicle make, model, year, condition, location). Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise specified.
If on pickup the vehicle's condition materially differs from your description (e.g. described as running but is non-running; described as complete but missing major components), we reserve the right to revise the offer. We will always discuss any revision with you before proceeding — you can decline at no cost.
Pickup & Removal
Free pickup is included with every quote for any address within the North Shore service area. We schedule pickups in agreed time windows. We use commercially-reasonable efforts to meet booked times but cannot guarantee exact-minute arrival due to traffic and prior-pickup variability.
Vehicle Ownership & Paperwork
You confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle and have authority to sell it. You confirm there is no outstanding finance or any third-party claim on the vehicle that would prevent legal transfer.
If you have outstanding finance, you must clear it before sale or arrange for us to settle directly with the lender.
We complete the NZTA notice of disposal on the pickup day. Your name is legally removed from the vehicle at that point.
Payment
We pay the quoted amount in full on the day of pickup, before the vehicle is loaded. Payment is by cash or instant bank transfer using NZ banking infrastructure. You choose the method.
What Happens to Your Vehicle
Once collected, your vehicle becomes our property. We process it through our standard depollution, parts recovery and metal recycling workflow. We comply with all NZ environmental regulations for end-of-life vehicle treatment.

- Pickup times are scheduled in good faith but subject to operational variability.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by NZ law, our liability is limited to the amount paid (or payable) for the vehicle being purchased. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
